Metrorail MRT pass can be recharged at home
A mobile app is being developed for Dhaka Metro Rail's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) pass card, allowing passengers to easily recharge their cards from home.
This information was shared by Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Managing Director Mohammad Abdur Rouf during a press conference held on Monday, October 14, at the DMTCL head office in Uttara.
He stated that through this app, cardholders would be able to conveniently recharge their cards from the comfort of their homes. The agreement is in its final stage, and he expressed hope of sharing positive news soon.
During the press conference, Mohammad Abdur Rouf also announced that the Mirpur-10 Metro Rail station, which had been closed, will reopen on Tuesday. The inauguration will be conducted by Advisor Mohammad Fauzul Kabir Khan, who will also disclose the repair costs of the station.
